Game of the Week

My Talking Tom Friends

Are you a dog or a cat person? It doesn’t really matter since you just need to be a pet person to understand our excitement. We’ve spent years loving all the titles and characters of the Talking Tom saga, including Angela, Hank, Ginger... And we have to recognize their last title has surprised us A LOT. And, since we like surprises, we can announce that Talking Tom Friends is our Game of the Week!

Talking Tom Friends, as all the games in saga, targets a younger audience (it’s the perfect game to keep children entertained, actually), but it’s also a purr-fect option for adults! If you enjoyed The Sims and you’ve owned a Tamagotchi you’ll understand what I mean. In Talking Tom Friends they’ve managed to unite all six famous characters in a way that we were no expecting: a sandbox experience! The possibilities are endless, since there are endless possibilities to enjoy this game.

You’ll have to satisfy the needs of several characters under your paw-session, including health, hygiene and play. Action takes place in a 2D house with very cute graphics and designs. Just sniff around and explore the surroundings while your cute pets tell you what they actually need. There is a color scheme to indicate the urgency of such need, so pay attention since your little friends can suffer the consequences... even hiccups!

As Xinyu Qian, CEO of Outfit7 (the studio behind Talking Tom Friends) puts it: “We are all very excited to see what will become of it in the hands of our fans”. We’ll have to see how this title behaves in your hands. With such a creative crowd of Android users out there, we’re sure the results will be paw-sitive!
